Königsstadt Luxor: Exklusives Nil-Abenteuer ab Safaga!

Habe eine 12-stündige Kleingruppen-Schiffstour gemacht. Die Abholung verlief reibungslos, das Fahrzeug war sehr komfortabel für unsere 4-stündige Reise ins Tal der Könige und nach Luxor zurück. Viel gelernt, gutes Mittagessen nur einen langen 12-Stunden-Tag.

Our driver communicated where he would meet us, was there more than early! Our tour guide, Roshdy, was very knowledgeable and helped us understand what we were going to see. Valley of the Kings is amazing to see in person, Karnak Temple is such a large site, truly amazing!

Absolutely 100%. The car was immaculate, the driver, Mustapha drove excellently and safely. The tour guide, Roshdy had in depth knowledge and was able to answer all questions. Between them, they worked very hard to make my day most enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. As an alternative to the organised cruise tour, I would absolutely recommend this, for all aspects.

Wow what an amazing day from Safaga Port to Luxor. The tour guide (Barre Abd Elhakk- AKA Barry) was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history. He helped me with my mom who was in a wheelchair and we adjusted the tour to see everything while she was comfortable. Ask for X for your tour. His English is excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of the day. My favorite part of all the stops was Karnak Temple so make sure you leave enough time!. The driver Samah was super nice and a good driver. We felt safe with him and he had the right balance of just driving and talking and answering any questions we had. To summarize, the tour, tour guide Barre and driver Samah were great. Be prepared that if you are expecting one of those white vans for your tour you won’t be getting that. But you will get a car with air conditioning for yourself if you are two people. Also, all the other tours except ours and one other were waiting right outside the ship/immigration with a sign and had a smooth pick up for their tour. We literally waited almost an hour and the operator that was messaging me did not answer the calls, or messages, etc. The operator for reflections had horrible communications and didn’t get the paperwork in time or they are not qualified to get into the port because ALL OTHER TOURS were waiting right outside and they had us arrive at 6:30 am and they failed to organize someone to pick us up to take us 1 mile outside the port for our driver. I called, messaged on trip advisor and what’s app and no answer and the other tour companies felt so bad they started calling the number to help us out. 45 min later some guy showed up and said I am dropping you off outside the port. And got to the end and said get out and then fought with the authorities who finally let us out. Our poor driver got the worst of us and he handled it extremely professionally and well. The rest of the trip was amazing. I would recommend the driver and tour guide but not reflection. They should have communicated better and SIMPLY told us that they were sending someone to the ship to drop us outside the port gates and had him waiting with a sign so we didn’t stress at 6:30am and all would have been fine and they would have gotten 5 stars. Also if they actually answered the phone knowing that we were waiting outside the ship and their driver was not permitted in then I would recommend them but I can not. I do recommend the driver and the tour guide 100% and they are the only reason that I didn’t give Reflection 1 star. The positive is upon return they had the taxi ready at the gate waiting it drive us to the ship but I give the driver the credit for that to make sure we left happy. All in all, it is a great tour, but the unnecessary stress and 1 hr delay could have been prevented if they were organized and effectively communicated. At minimum answered the messages when we tried calling and messaging and not waiting 45 min to send someone and then act like all is good. Do not trust them when they say no worries all will be ok.

Fantastic guide and driver. Wonderful Karnak and Valley of the Kings. Recommend this tour.We travelled from Safaga to Luxor in an air conditioned Mitsubishi, only two of us. Very comfortable and great to only have 2 people on the tour.

Great guide but not picked up at ship as most tours were. Had to guess after looking at all other tour pick up our tour might be outside of gates whereever that was. Finally walked 1 mile outside of port after asking many people and found van. Delivered back to same spot and walked back at night 1 might with no one around and many dogs.

Had a great time seeing the sites around Luxor with Mohamed Awad who was our tour guide. He did an amazing job using the time we had available to make sure we saw all the sites located on both sides of the Nile River.

Our day started super early at 6am from the Safaga Port. There was a little confusion in finding our driver but once we met up with him we were off on our 3.5 hour journey to Luxor. Once we arrived in town, our tour guide Mohsen jumped into our van with waters for all of us and we were off. We had limited time for the tour because we had to get back to the cruise port in the evening and Mohsen was great about finding out our preferences and adjusting the schedule accordingly. For instance as a group, we decided we really didn’t want to take the time to do the river cruise so he was able to move other stops around so we could see more with our limited time. Mohsen was super knowledgeable about the history and all of the kings and queens of ancient Egypt. It was a LOT of info to take in! It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad we took the time to do it. I didn’t catch our driver’s name, but he was super nice and also sensitive to our worries about getting back to the port in time. He was with us from 6am until he dropped us off around 6:30pm, and he had come from Luxor in the morning and was going back to Luxor that evening so it was a very long day for him! But he was cheery and helpful throughout. It was one of the most amazing days of our cruise!

Fun and informative! Our guide Adel provided a wonderful experience and shared his extensive knowledge of the area and it's great history. Everything from the amazing sites and his detailed knowledge of the hieroglyphs made this a memorable time. It was all topped of with a delish meal ! Highly reccomend. Be sure to ask for Adel
